“In the New Testament we read of Jesus chastising religious leaders who were more concerned with traditions and regulations than they were about people. The Pharisees were more concerned with counting out tiny seeds than they were with helping a sinner discover God’s way.”

Dear Friends,

Garland St. Church of Christ began worshipping at the current location in February 1966 after moving from the 10th and Utica location. Our mission statement as a family of Garland St. Church of Christ, with the Bible as our guide and Jesus Christ as our Savior, will look Upward to glorify, praise and honor God. We will look outward to seek, convert and reach the lost. We will look inward to serve, equip and love one another. Our vision statement is to train and help our members for various works inside and outside our services. We want to be recognized in the community as a Church that reaches out to people inside and outside our membership allowing everyone to serve in a meaningful way.

Please use this website to see who we are, where we are, and where we are going. Ours is a great story, and we welcome you to become part of it. We seek to encourage your relationship with Jesus Christ and we challenge you to get connected in ministry with us as we pursue our mission: Go! Make disciples and teach them to obey the commands of Christ!

We certainly want to extend a special invitation to visit us. Our goal is to “restore” the New Testament Church in our time. We strive and want to be a Bible centered Church.

May God alone be honored through the life and ministry of this, His Church.

In Christ,

Garland Street Church Of Christ
